Swampgod project started in 2020 during the lockdown by Arturo Boem, a designer based in Venice Italy with a background in graffiti writing. He started upcycling basic archetypal workwear as pants and jackets and posting pictures in his Instagram account. His work was noted by Rick Owens who proposed him a collaboration, inviting him to upcycle unsold items from his past collections. This collaboration generated a total of 19 capsule collections for a total of more than 1000 pieces all designed and produced entirely by himself. The collaboration ended in june 2022 but Arturo still has access to Owenscorp factory fabric cutouts.  Swampgod is now launching his first series of capsule collections made of 1/1 pieces produced using exclusively factory cutoffs materials, upcycling deadstock clothing and recycling metallic hardware.
